Health Care Education offered at HSHS St. Joseph’s Hospital

(Breese, IL) – On April 4, 2019, HSHS St. Joseph’s Hospital Breese is hosting Knowledge is Power, a free health care education seminar open to all disciplines within long-term care and assisted living facilities. Those interested will have two seminar time slots to choose from: 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. or 1 - 4:30 p.m.
Participants will hear from multiple speakers on different health care topics. A list of speakers and their topics are as follows:

St. Joseph’s Senior Renewal: Mental Health for Seniors

St. Joseph’s Physical Therapy and Barb Berndsen, LSW: Relaxation Techniques
“We are excited to offer this class to health care professionals in our community. Our speakers will provide informative techniques for health care providers and support staff to develop best practices and continuity of care for patients,” said Barb Berndsen, LSW, social worker at St. Joseph’s Hospital Breese.
