Hospital to celebrate Feast of St. Joseph with Soup Supper to benefit food pantries
March 4, 2017
The community is invited to enjoy a Simple Soup Supper at the hospital on Tuesday, March 14, 2017, in celebration of the Feast of St. Joseph. The Mission Committee is hosting the event in the hospital cafeteria from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. to share the hospital’s Franciscan heritage of simplicity during this Lenten season. A donation of $5 per person is requested. All money collected will be divided between the Clinton County food pantries. A choice of three delicious soups including chicken noodle, country vegetable and potato bacon, will be served with a simple salad, homemade bread, water, tea and coffee.
Earlier in the day, a Mass celebrating the Feast of St. Joseph will be offered in the Heritage Room. The Most Reverend Stanley Schlarman will preside over the 11:00 a.m. service. The community is welcome to attend.
