New Year's Baby welcomed for 2019

HSHS St. Joseph’s Hospital Breese proudly welcomed Jackson Brandon Renth as the first baby born at the hospital in 2019. He was born at 8:03 a.m. on Wednesday, January 2 at St. Joseph’s; weighing 9 pounds 4 ounces and 21 inches long. Jackson’s proud parents are Amanda Southard and Eric Renth of Mascoutah, Illinois. He is also welcomed by his older siblings Hayden (brother) and Riley (sister).
St. Joseph’s Women and Infants Center presented Jackson’s parents with a gift basket of baby items, and the Breese Lions Club donated a $100 Visa gift card. St. Joseph’s Auxiliary also donated a basket filled with a bear, a handmade blanket and booties.
