(Breese, IL) – HSHS St. Joseph’s Hospital Breese is pleased to announce the opening of their Outpatient Surgery and Treatment Center. Services are scheduled to start at 5 a.m. on Monday, January 15, 2018.
Patients arriving at St. Joseph’s for outpatient services should park west of the hospital off of Jamestown Road in the Emergency lot and enter through the Emergency entrance.
The new Outpatient Surgery Center is designed to increase efficiency and patient privacy in a beautiful environment. The $9.4 million Outpatient Surgery expansion includes a 13,880 square-foot addition housing 17 ambulatory surgery prep/recovery rooms, four infusion rooms, support space, consultation rooms, waiting areas, and a new ambulance garage. The building also has a new discharge exit with an overhang and a circle drive, so patients will not need to travel through the hospital after having surgery.
In addition, St. Joseph’s Specialty Clinic parking lot has reopened for patient parking.
