Why should I get the COVID-19 vaccine?

Receiving the COVID-19 vaccine is the best way to combat the disease. There is a light at the end of the tunnel, and we need all the help we can get in fighting COVID-19. That is why we continue to ask you to wear a mask and social distance as well as get your COVID-19 vaccine when it becomes available to you.

Who is eligible during Phases 1A and 1B?

Vaccines are currently only available to individuals in either Phase IA (health care workers and residents of long-term care facilities) or Phase IB (those who are 65 or older, or 18+ who have at least one specified medical condition that puts them at high risk of severe COVID-19 complications. If you have any questions regarding your eligibility, please speak with your health care provider.

Do I need an appointment to get vaccinated?

Yes. If you have previously signed up to be on our list, please do not call to check on your spot. As soon as we are able to schedule your appointment, we will contact you. Due to the available number of vaccines, we are not accepting more names on our list at this time. Please check this website regularly as information will be updated on an ongoing basis.

What if all the appointments are taken?

We know many of you are eager to get vaccinated, and right now the demand for vaccine is greater than the supply. Please continue to monitor our website and the local health department’s website.
