Childbirth Prep. Series 1 - March 2022

This series of three classes is designed for you and a labor partner to help prepare for a positive birth experience whether you plan a natural delivery, or prefer the use of medication or epidural anesthesia. Classes are offered free of charge and are open to all prospective parents. The three-part series of classes is offered on Thursday, March 17, 24 and 31 from 6 - 9 p.m.

Topics include:

• End of Pregnancy, preparing for delivery, writing a birth plan, choosing your support team, spinning babies, tour of the unit.

• Nonpharmacological comfort measures, vaginal delivery options (unmedicated, nitrous, iv meds, epidural , position changes, shower, etc), induction/augmentation/unscheduled & emergent Cesarean Deliveries.

• Taking care of yourself after delivery, taking care of your newborn, breastfeeding.
