Each year nearly 800,000 people suffer from a stroke in the United States and countless more are affected by a loved one’s stroke. Whether you are a survivor or are caring for a loved one, HSHS St. Mary’s Hospital’s stroke support group is for you. Join the support group on the first Thursday of each month starting May 4, 2017, from noon – 1 p.m. in the seventh floor ARC dining room.

Topics discussed in the support group range from basic information on strokes and stroke medications to caregiver support at home and a potential loss of independence. If you or a loved one is a stroke survivor, please join us to learn ways to cope with the effects of stroke.
