Green Bay – In honor of National Volunteer Week, April 15 – 21, HSHS St. Vincent Hospital and HSHS St. Mary’s Hospital Medical Center in Green Bay recognize the hard work, dedication and compassion of their volunteers.
In 2017, 278 volunteers put in a total of 16,279 volunteer hours at HSHS St. Vincent Hospital; and 94 volunteers put in a total of 10,447 volunteer hours at HSHS St. Mary’s Hospital Medical Center. Volunteers also coordinated nine fundraising projects that contributed almost $260,000 to enhance services at both hospitals.
“We are incredibly blessed to have dedicated volunteers that partner with us to bring health, healing and hope to our patients,” said Mary Ann Brunette, volunteer services manager for HSHS-Eastern Wisconsin Division. “Volunteers bring joy to our patients and to all of us daily!”
