Green Bay – HSHS St. Vincent Hospital, HSHS St. Mary’s Hospital Medical Center, HSHS St. Nicholas Hospital, HSHS St. Clare Memorial Hospital and Prevea Health have launched a toll-free helpline designed to help Medicare patients select a health plan that fits their needs.
The helpline, serviced by MedicareCompareUSA, connects callers with local licensed agents who can assist in comparing Medicare Advantage, Supplement and Prescription plans, and then facilitate enrollment in the plan selected.
“We understand how complex and confusing Medicare can be for those just turning 65 and even for those who are a longtime Medicare patient,” said Dr. Ashok Rai, President and CEO at Prevea Health. “This helpline is a one-stop resource for insurance information so patients can be confident in making informed decisions about their Medicare insurance options.”
The helpline will also make it easier for Medicare patients who prefer to choose a health plan accepted by Prevea Health and HSHS St. Vincent, St. Mary’s, St. Nicholas and St. Clare Memorial Hospitals , thus assuring continuity of care and preserving the trusted bond built over time with their providers.

Open enrollment for Medicare is currently underway through Dec. 7, 2019. Individuals can call the toll-free Medicare Insurance Helpline at 1-855-480-0051, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.
