ldquo;Our nurses and colleagues are always looking for growth and learning opportunities to better serve our patients,” said Loren Lortscher, Director of Clinical Services at HSHS St. Nicholas Hospital. “The scholarship program is a critical way to help them thrive as they pursue further education. We are proud of their hard work and dedication!”
HSHS St. Nicholas Hospital presents academic scholarships to colleagues each year, based upon need and merit. The funding for the scholarships comes from community support and is administered by the hospital’s philanthropic arm, the HSHS St. Nicholas Foundation. In 2021, the six recipients each received $1,000.
