Sheboygan – HSHS St. Nicholas Hospital is pleased to announce the appointment of Justin Selle, MBA, to serve as the hospital’s next president and CEO.
Since 2015, Justin has served as the CEO of Pike County Memorial Hospital in Louisiana, Mo., a nationally-ranked, top 20 critical access hospital with outpatient clinics in multiple counties. Prior to his role as CEO, Justin served as chief operating officer at Pike County Memorial Hospital from 2014 to 2015.
“Justin’s combined experience in business and health care and his track record of successful leadership make him the ideal candidate for this role,” said Mary Starmann-Harrison, president and CEO of Hospital Sisters Health System (HSHS), which along with HSHS St. Nicholas Hospital, includes 14 other hospitals across Wisconsin and Illinois. “We are pleased he has accepted our invitation to join our Franciscan healing ministry.”
During his tenure at Pike County Memorial Hospital, Justin was honored by Becker’s Hospital Review in a list of top critical access hospital CEOs from 2015-2017. Additionally, the hospital was named to a Becker’s Hospital Review list of top critical access hospitals from 2015-2017. Justin’s focus on quality led to the hospital being named as one of the National Rural Health Association’s top 20 critical access hospitals in 2015 and 2016.

Justin has a strong business background with a Master of Business Administration with an emphasis in health care from Lindenwood University and a BA in Communications from Truman State University. He is very active in his community as a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives, president of the rotary and multiple other leadership roles on various community boards.

Justin will officially begin his role as HSHS St. Nicholas Hospital president and CEO on August 20, 2018. Therese Pandl, the president and CEO of the HSHS Eastern Wisconsin Division, is currently serving as the interim president and CEO of HSHS St. Nicholas Hospital.
