In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, HSHS continues to add to our staffing float pool to ensure we are prepared and ready to treat a potential surge in patients with COVID-19. As a member of the Staffing Float Pool Team, you will provide ad hoc assistance in a clinical capacity as needed at your designated HSHS facility. We’re looking for the following temporary – per diem/PRN positions: RNs and CNAs

Green Bay – HSHS St. Vincent Hospital and its partner, Prevea Health, are now collecting cloth, handmade face masks.

Those who wish to make and donate masks to Prevea Health and/or HSHS St. Vincent Hospital should follow these criteria when making the masks:

  • Click here to watch a tutorial on making masks with elastic straps
  • Click here to watch a tutorial on making masks with cotton straps
  • Click here to download printable instructions

HSHS St. Vincent Hospital and Prevea Health are collecting the masks between now and Friday, April 17, between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m., *except Saturday and Sunday, at two locations in Green Bay:

  1. 2710 Executive Dr., Green Bay (Prevea/HSHS Executive Offices)
  2. 835 S Van Buren St. Green Bay (outside the CLOSED gift shop/cafe entrance on Van Buren)

Masks should be placed no more than 25 at a time in a sealed, Ziploc bag, and then placed in the collection bin outside of each location.

Prevea Health and HSHS St. Vincent Hospital also strongly encourage and recommend universal masking throughout the community, in addition to the practice of social distancing and proper hygiene to help prevent the spread of COVID-19. Click here to learn more about universal masking, including when, where and how community members should be wearing masks.

Cloth, handmade masks cannot prevent a person from contracting COVID-19, however, they can prevent a person from touching their face and mouth, and help keep the wearer’s respiratory secretions to themselves. This is important as those who are infected with COVID-19 may not display any symptoms.
