Child Life Donations

Child Life at HSHS St. Vincent Children’s Hospital is supported 100% by donations. We welcome the opportunity to assist those who wish to donate to Child Life through planned gifts, annual gifts, memorials and/or tribute gifts or with items from our wish list. There are many ways to make a gift!

What is Child Life?

Using play, education and self-expression, HSHS St. Vincent Children’s Hospital as a team of Child Life Specialists who are dedicated to improving the patient experience, care and satisfaction in the hospital, including family and sibling support and grief services. Learn more about Child Life.

Child Life Wish List

DONATION GUIDELINES

  • Due to strict infection control purposes, all donated items must be new and unwrapped.

  • We do not accept latex balloons, food items or candy. Please no toys with guns or swords.

  • In order to ensure patient safety and abide by patient confidentiality regulations, gifts cannot be delivered directly to patients by the donor(s).

Our biggest needs:

  • Stat strip adhesive Band-Aids
  • Crayola Model Magic (4 oz. packets)
  • Light up spinners
  • Teen items: apparel, body works, movies, games, etc.
  • ROKUS Sticks
  • Carhart mens/womens hats
  • Toddler shape sorter
  • Diamond dot crafts

 

  • $5-$10 café gift cards (HSHS St. Vincent Children’s Hospital)
  • Nintendo Switch games (E for Everyone)

  • Recordable devices from Build-A-Bear (without prerecorded sounds)
