HSHS Administrative Fellowship Programs 

The HSHS Fellowship Programs provide a dynamic and engaging experience that will positively affect the fellows’ ability to provide quality, compassionate care as they pursue a career in health care. Fellows will be a part of a longstanding and evolving heath system, allowing them the opportunity to embrace the mission and ministry of the Hospital Sisters of St. Francis.

HSHS will offer three, 18-month fellowships beginning July 2024 to graduates of CAHME-accredited, health-care focused degree programs. Fellow positions will spend their initial six months gaining exposure to system level leadership and functions based in Springfield, Illinois. System Administrative Fellowship Program

Join us for two virtual information sessions for interested 2024 administrative fellow candidates! 

Session 1 - July 20, 2023 from 4-5pm CST

Session 2 - August 10, 2023 from 5-6pm CST

The application for the 2024 Fellowships will open July 1, 2023.  The deadline to apply will be Friday, September 15, 2023.

Required Materials

 

  • Proof of graduation from baccalaureate program and enrollment in graduate school curriculum to date from a CAHME-accredited program. 

  • Two reference letters - one reference letter must be from current MHA program director or advisor 

  • Resume 

  • Written personal statement of your fellowship and career objectives, including:
    • What you will bring to HSHS in furthering our mission
    • Why you are pursuing an administrative fellowship
    • Your career goals and how the HSHS Administrative Fellowship will benefit you
    • All items must be included in one PDF and uploaded in the resume portion of the online application.
