The pay rate for a successful candidate will be influenced by factors like their experience, skills, training, certifications, and level of education.

Evaluates the condition of each assigned patient and formulates, enforces, and executes treatment plans as specified by the care schedule. Holds accountability for delegating and guiding all discipline-specific therapy services. Functions as a teacher for patients, families, students, colleagues, and personal career advancement. Carries out additional professional tasks connected to patient care, enhancement of therapy program services, and fostering and evolving interdisciplinary teams.

Education Qualifications

  • Graduate (e.g., bachelors, master, or doctorate) from an accredited program which meets the licensure requirements in the state of practice is required.

Certifications, Licenses and Registrations

  • IL: State Licensure as an Occupational Therapist is required OR has been authorized to practice by the Illinois Department of Professional Regulation (IDFPR) and must obtain licensure within 6 months.
  • WI: State Licensure as an Occupational Therapist is required OR has been issued a temporary licensure to practice and must obtain licensure within 6 months.
  • Certified Basic Life Support (BLS) or completion in the first 90 days of employment is required.
