PRN House Supervisor Registered Nurse

Pay Range:

$39.60 - $59.40Hospital Sisters Health System (HSHS) is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Multispecialty Care team. Ideal candidates are patient focused, mission driven caregivers looking for an opportunity to apply clinical knowledge to coordinate and perform hands on acute patient care at the bedside.

Position Specifics:
oDepartment: Supplemental Nurse Services
oCore Function: Nursing
oSchedule: PRN
oFacility: St John’s Hospital
oLocation: Springfield, IL

Provides shift coordination across departments within the nursing division to promote continuity of patient care by assuring compliance with medical and nursing orders, coordinating patient placement, monitoring nursing activities and channeling selected information. Addresses issues outside of nursing, as needed, to ensure patient, staff and visitor concerns are resolved.

Education Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited and approved school of nursing accepted for licensure in the state of practice is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing is preferred.

Experience Qualifications

• 1 year Nursing experience is required.
• Leadership experience preferred.

Certifications, Licenses and Registrations

• Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
• ACLS, NRP, and PALS required as per local affiliate guidelines.
• Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in state of practice is required.
