Breastfeeding Support Group

Held in-person or via Zoom on Thursdays at 1 - 2 p.m.

A weekly support group open to all moms who wish to learn new ideas, share experiences and gain confidence in breastfeeding.

A weekly support group open to all moms who wish to learn new ideas, share experiences and gain confidence in breastfeeding. Led by a certified lactation specialist, the class will address topics including:
  • infant feeding cues
  • latching
  • milk supply
  • low weight gain in babies
  • nutrition
  • pumping
  • sore breasts
  • storage of breast milk
  • breastfeeding an adopted baby or twins
Participants will have the opportunity to discuss concerns, build camaraderie and receive education and support in a relaxed environment. Babies are encouraged to attend. Support people welcome.
