Annual Reports

Our HSHS Wisconsin annual report is a summary of our achievements and an active means of highlighting the vital role our hospitals have within the communities we serve. As part of our Franciscan mission to serve the sick and the poor, and improve the health and wellness of our communities, we give thanks for the values that inspire and guide us as we make a positive difference in the lives of those whom we are called to serve.

Each year, we celebrate our accomplishments and we invite you to read our latest annual report to learn more.

Community Health Improvement Plan (CHIP)

If you live, work or play in the Chippewa Valley, you’ve felt the benefits of having Sacred Heart Hospital here in this community.

It began in 1889, when the Hospital Sisters came to the Chippewa Valley with a commitment to provide Christ’s healing ministry to all people. Today, we continue reaching out to more and more people in our community with:

  • community benefit gifts of services totaling more than $50 million each year
  • unpaid care to beneficiaries of public programs like Medicare and Medicaid
  • financial assistance through our Community Care Program to those unable to pay
  • a Community Health Needs Assessment and Implementation Plan that addresses the unique needs of our region and then provides for those needs through community education, services and events.
  • Professional education for our clinical team
