Leadership and Affiliations


Sacred Heart Hospital is directed by a group of community leaders who serve in a volunteer capacity as the Board of Directors. 

Sacred Heart Hospital is an affiliate of the Hospital Sisters Health System, a 14-hospital system headquartered in Springfield, Illinois. Our hospital is sponsored by Hospital Sisters Ministries. You can find a complete list of our affiliates here.

HSHS hospitals achieve platinum recognition for organ donation efforts

HSHS Sacred Heart and St. Joseph’s hospitals are proud to have received platinum recognition from the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) for outstanding efforts to promote organ, tissue and eye donation, and increase enrollment in the Wisconsin donation program. 


National Suicide Prevention Week is September 6-12

As National Suicide Prevention Week (Sept. 6 – 12) approaches, HSHS Sacred Heart and St. Joseph’s hospitals remind everyone that if you or someone you know is having suicidal thoughts, you should call the Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 1-800-273-8255 (TALK), text HELLO to 741741, which is the Crisis Text Line or dial 911.
