We are currently seeking a Supply Chain Analyst for our Tau Services Center in Springfield, Illinois. This position will specialize in capital equipment.
This position will be responsible for assisting in the centralized management of the HSHS local system capital equipment and contract administration. Responsibilities will include conducting equipment appraisals and valuation analyses and applying valuation theories and approaches, including: gathering relevant supporting information, analyzing market and research information, participating in the formulation of valuation approaches, developing valuation models, and assisting in the preparation of formal and informal valuation reporting documents. This position will also assist in keeping the local system capital equipment lists current and identifying group purchase opportunities.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or a related field preferred; will consider candidates with extensive clinical healthcare-related or supply chain/materials management experience
Hospital purchasing experience preferred
Medical product knowledge required
Proficiency with Kaufmann Hall and ECRI preferred.
