CHIP identifies health needs and establishes priorities from which collaborative activities are created to help improve the health status and quality of life of our community. View the official CHIP website.

Our accomplishments include:

  • Partner in the formation of the Chippewa County Dental Foundation, Inc.
  • Partner in the formation of the Marshfield Clinic Chippewa Dental Center
  • Partner in the formation of the Open Door Clinic
  • Developed Chippewa County resource website
  • Lead effort in getting cardiac defibrillators for community facilities.

What You Need to Know

Since 1994, HSHS St. Joseph's Hospital has hosted Chippewa Health Improvement Partnership (formally called Chippewa Falls 2000/2010). With representatives from schools, churches, businesses, medical facilities, senior citizens, government and legal agencies, CHIP initiatives have strived to enhance the quality of life for residents of Chippewa County.

Chippewa Health Improvement Partnership exists because of the generous donation of time and services from volunteers and the financial and in-kind support from individuals, foundations, organizations and HSHS St. Joseph's Hospital.
