HSHS St. Joseph’s Hospital offers babysitting classes March 18, April 22

Chippewa Falls, Wis. – HSHS St. Joseph’s Hospital Volunteer Partners will be hosting spring babysitting classes for area youth ages 11 and older.

 

The class will be taught by an experienced instructor using hands-on learning stations, a video presentation and group discussion. Participants will learn:

  • Basic first aid training.
  • Feeding and diapering techniques and skills.
  • How to provide safe activities for children of all ages.
  • How to choose age-appropriate games.

Classes are Saturday, March 18 and April 22 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in McDonald Hall at HSHS St. Joseph’s Hospital, 2661 County Hwy I in Chippewa Falls.

Registration is required. The class fee is $20, which includes lunch.
