HSHS St. Joseph’s Hospital names Keeper of the Tradition Award recipient

Chippewa Falls, Wis. – HSHS St. Joseph’s Hospital has named Brandy Sikora the recipient of the 2023 Keeper of the Tradition Award. The award, which is the highest honor a colleague can receive at the hospital, was presented May 10, 2023.

Brandy is the Manager of Volunteer Services and successfully manages a multitude of tasks at HSHS St. Joseph’s Hospital. She plans and partakes in the annual Volunteer Partners’ Charity Ball event; coordinates multiple hospital and community fundraisers; assists front desk staff to welcome and admit patients; manages the hospital gift shop and is always willing to take on more.

In a peer-nomination letter, a colleague wrote, “Brandy has been a staple at HSHS St. Joseph’s Hospital. She truly demonstrates a life of service and treats others with dignity, respect and compassion. She carries out her work joyfully and is true to the hospital mission.”

HSHS St. Joseph’s Hospital President and CEO, John Wagner says Brandy personifies the hospital values of respect, care, competence and joy. “Everything Brandy does is done with a smile and a genuine heart.”

This marks the 21st year the HSHS St. Joseph’s Hospital Keeper of the Tradition Award has been given to a colleague who carries on the traditions of Christian hospitality, servant leadership and the mission of the Hospital Sisters.
