Pediatric programs

HSHS Home Care Pediatric Service offers skilled health care to pediatric patients ages newborn to 18 years of age in their homes. The focus of pediatric home care is on the health needs of the infant, child, adolescent in a family setting.

The focus of pediatric home care is on the health needs of the infant/child/adolescent in a family setting. Activities are directed toward helping pediatric patients attain and maintain their highest level of development and quality of health, while helping the family provide support. Efforts are also concentrated on the prevention of further disability, health teaching, and on appropriate referral to allied health professionals as needed.

 Under the direction of the patient’s physician, HSHS Home Care Illinois can provide the following skilled services:
