Prairie Cardiovascular and HSHS Medical Group are proud to welcome back Dr. Erbert Caceres. Dr. Caceres will be seeing patients at Prairie Cardiovascular-Decatur at 1770 E. Lake Shore Dr. He provides care in interventional cardiology and vascular medicine, serving patients with complex cardiovascular needs.
Dr. Caceres brings extensive expertise in interventional cardiology and vascular medicine, with advanced experience in treating coronary artery disease, peripheral vascular disease and abdominal aortic aneurysms. He has helped expand access to trans radial coronary procedures and comprehensive vascular services, advancing minimally invasive cardiovascular care in the communities he serves. His clinical approach emphasizes prevention, risk factor management and coordinated care to support long-term heart health.
Caceres completed his internal medicine residency at Englewood Hospital and Medical Center in New Jersey and his cardiology fellowship and interventional cardiology training at Baystate Medical Center in Massachusetts. He is board certified in cardiovascular disease, interventional cardiology, endovascular medicine and vascular medicine, and is a registered physician in vascular interpretation.
