Emily Townes Joins Team in Carbondale

Prairie Cardiovascular is pleased to welcome Emily Townes, PA-C, to its team in Carbondale. Townes will serve in an inpatient role at Prairie Cardiovascular in Carbondale, located at 409 W. Oak St.
Townes is originally from Southern Illinois and is proud to serve the community where she was raised. She builds strong professional relationships with her patients, guiding them through a healing journey focused on patient-centered care—starting with the heart.
Townes earned her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Des Moines University in Des Moines, Iowa. She graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in physiology from Southern Illinois University Carbondale.
