HSHS & Prairie Cardiovascular Open New Location at Anderson Hospital

HSHS Prairie Cardiovascular, a specialty service of Hospital Sisters Health System (HSHS), opened a new outpatient clinic location on September 11, 2026, at 6810 State Route 162, Suite 20, Maryville, Ill., on the campus of Anderson Hospital.

“We are excited to expand our expert cardiovascular services to this new location in Madison County,” said Mitch Rogers, MBA, BSN, RN, Director of Operations HSHS Prairie Cardiovascular. “HSHS and Prairie have been delivering localized and accessible heart care in convenient locations for our patients throughout Illinois for decades and we appreciate the opportunity to further expand locations to continue to deliver exceptional care.”

Four cardiologists, Dr. Thomas Cahill, Dr. Prasad Kandula, Dr. Vinaya Mulkareddy and Dr. Frederick Ochieng’, will be accepting new patients at the HSHS Prairie Cardiovascular – Maryville clinic and can treat many heart-related issues, including:

Note: As of September 4, the current outreach days at HSHS Prairie Cardiovascular – Edwardsville, 1188 S. State Rte. 157, and HSHS Prairie Cardiovascular – Maryville, 2401 South Center St., will shift to the new location at Anderson Hospital.
