Hospital Sisters Health System (HSHS), a leading Catholic health ministry with operations in Illinois and Wisconsin, announced today that they have named Chief Financial Officers (CFO) for their Wisconsin Market, Central Illinois Market/Illinois Physician Enterprise, and Southern Illinois Market.
HSHS Wisconsin Market
Amy Crouch, MBA, CPA, FHFMA, has been named CFO for HSHS Wisconsin Market which includes HSHS St. Vincent Hospital in Green Bay; HSHS St. Mary’s Hospital Medical Center in Green Bay; HSHS St. Nicholas Hospital in Sheboygan; and HSHS St. Clare Memorial Hospital in Oconto Falls.
Crouch has been serving as interim CFO for the Wisconsin Market since fall of 2025. She is a collaborative and results-driven financial executive with expertise in strategic financial improvement planning and execution by partnering with operational leaders. She comes to HSHS after having served as Chief Financial Officer at Riverview Health in Noblesville, Indiana. She previously served as a finance consultant in South Carolina, Indiana and Ohio, after serving in various finance roles in health systems in Indiana and Michigan.
She holds a Master of Business Administration from Indiana Wesleyan University in Marion, Indiana and a Bachelor of Science in accounting from Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana.

Divya Matai, CPA, FACHE, FHFMA, MBA, MHA, has been named CFO for HSHS Central Illinois Market and Illinois Physician Enterprise. HSHS’ Central Illinois Market includes HSHS St. John’s Hospital in Springfield; HSHS St. Anthony’s Memorial Hospital in Effingham; HSHS St. Mary’s Hospital in Decatur; HSHS St. Francis Hospital in Litchfield and HSHS Good Shepherd Hospital in Shelbyville. HSHS’ Illinois Physician Enterprise includes HSHS Medical Group, Prairie Cardiovascular, Physician Clinical Integration Network, HSHS ACO, and Prairie Education & Research Cooperative.
Matai has been serving as interim CFO for the Central Illinois Market/Physician Enterprise since fall 2025. She is an accomplished senior executive with a history of success in strategic planning, program development, financial analysis, forecasting and negotiations. She joins HSHS after having served at Emory Healthcare in Atlanta, Georgia as Vice President and CFO at various divisions of the organization. Prior to that, she served as Market CFO for Northwest Texas Healthcare System in Amarillo, Texas, after serving as CFO at medical institutes in Houston, Texas and Eugene, Oregon.
She holds a Master of Business and Healthcare Administration from the University of Houston in Texas and a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery from Mahatma Gandhi Medical College in Navi Mumbai, India.

Mark Thorn, MBA, FACHE, has been named CFO for HSHS Southern Illinois Market which includes HSHS St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in O’Fallon; HSHS St. Joseph’s Hospital in Breese; HSHS St. Joseph’s Hospital in Highland and HSHS Holy Family Hospital in Greenville.
Thorn is a financial and operational leader with more than two decades of experience across rural, community and multi-site health care organizations leading comprehensive financial management, revenue cycle optimization, strategic planning and more. He joins HSHS after serving as Executive Director of Finance and Operations for Mercy Hospital Lincoln and Mercy Hospital Washington in Troy, Missouri. Previously, he served as Chief Financial Officer for Lincoln County Medical Center in Troy and Northwest Medical Center in Albany, Missouri.
He holds a Master of Business Administration in finance and healthcare administration from Northcentral University and a Bachelor of Science in management and accounting from Southwest Baptist University.
