Dr. Ujunwa Ebili Joins Family Medicine in Taylorville

HSHS Medical Group welcomes Dr. Ujunwa Ebili, a family medicine physician, to HSHS Medical Group Multispecialty Care – Taylorville, 1304 W. Burnett Drive.

Dr. Ebili treats patients of all ages, focusing on preventive services, chronic condition management and long-term health support. Her clinical interests include geriatrics, with experience supporting older adults and individuals with complex medical needs. She works to help patients maintain independence, function and quality of life through coordinated, practical treatment plans.

Each visit is guided by listening and clear communication. Dr. Ebili partners with patients to develop plans that reflect their goals, values and daily routines. This approach supports informed decisions and helps patients feel confident managing their health. She says, "Family medicine is vital for a healthy community, and I’m grateful to serve Taylorville. Dr. Ebili earned a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the University of Ibadan in Ibadan, Nigeria. She completed family medicine residency training at Mount Sinai Hospital Medical Center in Chicago and a geriatrics fellowship at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore. She is board certified in family and lifestyle medicine.
