HSHS Medical Group Awards Provider of the Month to Amanda Stroud, APRN

HSHS Medical Group is pleased to award Amanda Stroud, APRN, with our June Provider of the Month Award. Amanda is a family medicine provider at HSHS Medical Group Family & Internal Medicine Effingham, Illinois.
The Provider of the Month is chosen from nominations submitted by fellow HSHS Medical Group team members. “Amanda always goes above and beyond for her patients,” her nominator said. “She is known for personally checking in on her patients, doing home visits if they are too sick to come to the office and she is worried that a virtual visit would not be sufficient. She represents our mission in all she does!”
When asked what her favorite part of her job is, Amanda said, “I feel blessed to come to a job that I love every day. My favorite part of this job is seeing how my team and I make a difference in the lives of our patients.” She says, “I am also very lucky to be able to work in a community I can serve outside of the office - It is very important to me to really know who my patients are outside of the clinic.”
During her time away from work Amanda enjoys running or time at the gym but her favorite activity is being with family and watching her children in all their extracurricular activities.
