HSHS Medical Group welcomes Shanna Litteken, PA-C, a board-certified physician assistant, to HSHS Medical Group Orthopedic Surgery in Breese at 14017 Jamestown Rd., Breese, Ill., and HSHS Medical Group Orthopedic Surgery in Highland at 12860 Troxler Ave., Suite 300, Highland, Ill.
Litteken provides compassionate, patient-centered orthopedic care with an emphasis on clear communication and shared decision-making. She treats sports and general orthopedic conditions, manages fractures, and provides pre- and postoperative counseling. She also offers conservative care for injuries and joint pain, including intra-articular and soft tissue injections, and recommends surgery only when it offers the best outcome.
Litteken earned a Master of Science in physician assistant studies and a Bachelor of Science in physiology from Southern Illinois University Carbondale. She is committed to patient education and helps individuals understand their diagnosis, treatment options and recovery plan.
