Pulmonology Services Expand in O'Fallon

HSHS Medical Group welcomes Charissa Holesko, AGPCNP-BC, a nurse practitioner specializing in pulmonology care, to HSHS Medical Group Multispecialty Care - St. Elizabeth’s at 3 St. Elizabeth’s Blvd., Suite 5000, O’Fallon.
Holesko provides pulmonology care for adults with breathing and lung health concerns. Patients may see her for help with respiratory symptoms, chronic lung conditions and care plans that support daily breathing and long-term health. She chose pulmonology because the specialty includes a wide range of conditions and continues to grow with new treatment options.
Her care is centered on open communication and patient involvement. Holesko takes time to listen, answer questions and work with patients to build treatment plans together. Her goal is to help each patient feel informed, supported and confident in their care.
Holesko earned adult-gerontology primary care nurse practitioner training from Goldfarb School of Nursing at Barnes-Jewish College in St. Louis. She also earned a Bachelor of Science in nursing (BSN) from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville in Edwardsville, Illinois. She is certified as an adult-gerontology primary care nurse practitioner through the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
