Take your first step to becoming a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). 

Our program offers paid on-site training, followed by employment in an HSHS hospital upon completion.  

Additionally, candidates are eligible to take the state competency exam to become a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) after training.

Green Bay, Wisconsin

Program Dates

The state-approved program occurs three times a year: February, June and October; Monday through Friday and runs for two and a half weeks at HSHS St. Mary’s Hospital Medical Center in Green Bay, Wisconsin.

Eligibility

  • Anyone 16 years old or older can apply.
  • Internal and external applicants are encouraged to apply.

O'Fallon, Illinois

The O'Fallon program is a Registered Apprenticeship with the State of Illinois in collaboration with St. Clair County Workforce Development and with education provided by Midwest Career Source on-site at HSHS St. Elizabeth's Hospital.

Program Dates

The program occurs three times a year: February, June and October and runs Monday through Friday for six weeks at HSHS St. Elizabeth's Hospital in O'Fallon, Illinois.

Eligibility

  • Anyone 18 years old or older with a high school degree or GED can apply.
  • Applications are accepted three months prior to the state date and are subject to an interview and completion of pre-testing requirements.
