    Your physician sends your specialty medication prescription to HSHS Specialty Pharmacy.

  2. Insurance Verification 
    We verify your benefits, handle prior authorizations, and identify any financial assistance programs that can reduce your out-of-pocket costs.

  3. Clinical Consultation 
    A specialty-trained pharmacist contacts you to review your medication, answer questions, and ensure you understand how to take it safely.

  4. Delivery Coordination 
    We coordinate delivery of your medication directly to your home, with appropriate temperature controls and handling.

  5. Ongoing Support 
    We monitor refills, check in on side effects, coordinate with your care team, and provide ongoing clinical guidance throughout your treatment.
