Restricted Gifts

Although unrestricted gifts provide the greatest flexibility to the hospital in carrying out the health care ministry, a preference may be expressed for the general type of programming to be supported by adding, "To the extent possible and practicable, this gift shall be used for the area of ------" 

Unrestricted Gifts

Gifts may be made to the HSHS St. Francis Foundation with no restrictions as to their use. Unrestricted gifts will be used where the hospital's needs are the greatest as determined by the hospital administrator and the HSHS St. Francis Foundation Board of Directors.
