Food Services

HSHS St. John's Hospital offers many food options throughout our campus for our patients and our visitors.

Guest and visitor meals

Guest trays are available for $8.50 per tray, payable with credit or debit card only. Guests can order from the room service menu by calling MEALS (ext. 20-63257).

The Cafeteria is located on the first floor of the main hospital. Look below for other meal options.

6 a.m. - 6 p.m. | Full service

6 p.m. - 12 a.m. | Grab & go items only (no cash accepted)

12 - 2:30 a.m. | Salad bar, soup, hot options, grab & go (no cash accepted)

2:30 - 6 a.m. | Grab & go items only (no cash accepted)

Vending machines are available 24/7.

Dining Options

Market Coffee

Market Coffee, located in the main lobby of the hospital, is open 6 a.m. – 2 p.m., Monday through Friday. It offers coffee, espresso-based hot, iced and frozen drinks, pastries, sandwiches and salads. 


Market Coffee 2

Market Coffee 2 located in the children's hospital lobby, is open Monday through Friday 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. Offering breakfast menu items from 6 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. and lunch menu items from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

They offer a classic Starbucks menu, quick and customized breakfast options and great lunch options exclusive to the Market Coffee 2 location.


Vending Machines

Vending machines are accessible 24 hours a day in the following areas:

  • Inside the east entrance to the Cafeteria 
  • Surgery family lounges on the 2nd floor in the Pavilion
  • Hallway west of the St. John's Children's Hospital lobby
  • Emergency Department waiting area
