Pet Blessing

Tuesday, October 6, 2026 | 5:00 p.m.

All HSHS Good Shepherd Hospital colleagues and community are invited to bring their pets to receive a blessing provided by Father Pawel Augustyniak in honor of the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi.

St. Francis is the patron saint of animals and nature because his love of creation led him to call all created things, animals, plants, and elements, his "brothers and sisters" in God.

Please join us for a Pet Blessing, as we honor the HSHS Franciscan heritage by ministering to our animal brothers and sisters.

Pets must be properly restrained.
