When recovery begins, for both adults and adolescents, the entire family needs to be involved. To support treatment and to better understand the serious nature of substance use disorder, family is encouraged to provide care and guidance during every stage of recovery. During treatment, this involves meeting with the counselor and ongoing support specifically designed for friends and family.
At Libertas, we recognize a patient’s support system may include parents, other family members or guardians, friends or co-workers. We welcome all with open arms.
