“Women’s Health Survival Guide was created to discuss current health concerns and how they impact women,” said Ronita Rufus, Emergency Department RN at St. Francis Hospital. “It is important that our community knows of the programs and resources available to women in our area. We hope that this event will help to shine a light on women’s health and safety concerns.”

The topics that will be discussed at the conference include human trafficking and the resources Eden’s Glory offers for victims; the Illinois Breast and Cervical Cancer Program available at Prairie State Women’s Health Program; addiction in women and the resources available at St. Francis Way Clinic; the mission of Lighthouse Pregnancy Center and its resources; women and mental health and substance abuse, recovery and wellness programs at Crossover Ministries; and education regarding safe sleep environments and safe infant care presented by St. Francis maternity department.

Event is at capacity. Registration is closed at this time.
