Drive thru dinner orders due June 5

The HSHS St. Francis Hospital Auxiliary will sponsor the second of six drive-thru dinners on Monday, June 12 from 5 to 6:30 p.m. to support the Auxiliary’s scholarship fund. 

Dinners must be ordered by June 5. Orders can be placed online at nelsonscatering.com/hshs-st-francis-hospital, in the hospital gift shop, or by contacting Jeanne Banovic at 217-273-6716 or Nancy Hyam at 217-254-4442. 

The June 12 drive-thru dinner pickup will take place in front of the main hospital entrance. 

The meal will feature a grilled half chicken, cheesy potatoes, southern style green beans, and a roll, all prepared by Nelson’s Catering, with a homemade dessert provided by Auxiliary bakers. Cost per meal is $14.

The Auxiliary scholarship fund provides annual awards to students who reside principally in Montgomery or Macoupin counties, have completed one year of college and are pursuing degrees or diplomas in health-related occupations. 

Additional drive-thru dinner dates with various menus will take place Monday, July 10; Monday, Aug. 14; Monday, Sept. 11; and Monday, Oct. 9.
