Victory Lane Ford recently presented the St. Clare Center Food Pantry in Litchfield with a check for $5,000. The check was a matching gift that represented every dollar donated up to $5,000 through December 31. With the gift from Victory Lane, a total of $18,089 was realized.

Gene Hebenstreit, owner of Victory Lane Ford, stated, “We are so grateful for everyone’s support that makes this possible and I’m so pleased that people saw the need in anticipation of the holiday season and responded so generously.”

“We are most appreciative to Victory Lane Ford for this generous challenge grant which enabled donors to double the value of their contribution,” added Paula Endress, director of philanthropy for HSHS St. Francis Hospital. “Thank you to all who contributed to help those less fortunate in our community.”

The St. Clare Center Food Pantry is located at 603 N. Madison Street in Litchfield, and is a ministry of HSHS St. Francis Hospital. The pantry serves residents of Montgomery and Macoupin counties. For further information about the pantry call 217-324-2800.
