St. Francis named a top hospital

HSHS St. Francis Hospital is proud to announce that the hospital was recently highlighted by Becker’s Hospital Review publication for being among the best in the country in an area of meeting patients’ needs.
Based on the Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (HCAHPS) data from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), St. Francis Hospital made the list of top hospitals nationwide for staff responsiveness.
Heather Senaldi, director of nursing at HSHS St. Francis Hospital, shared, “These results demonstrate the increasing efforts of our colleagues to respond quickly to our patients’ needs. For example, our nursing staff conduct purposeful hourly rounding to check on each inpatient to ensure their needs are being met.”
HSHS St. Francis Hospital’s President and CEO Jim Timpe shared, “I am extremely proud of our colleagues for being recognized for the care and compassion they demonstrate in responding quickly to patients. Our clinical care team is dedicated to addressing our patients’ needs in a timely manner, which is their goal with every person who comes to St. Francis for their care.”
