James Osgood named 2023 Colleague of the Year

HSHS St. John’s Hospital announced its 2023 Colleague of the Year. James Osgood, colleague training specialist in the security department and December 2023 Colleague of the Month, received the award.
“James is an exceptional colleague who goes above and beyond in his work every day,” read a nomination. “He truly cares about the safety of our patients, visitors, colleagues and providers.”
“HSHS St. John’s Hospital is blessed to have a colleague who exemplifies our Core Values of Care, Competence, Respect and Joy,” said Matt Fry, president and CEO of St. John’s. “James is someone that not only his leaders, managers and colleagues can count on, but, most importantly, our patients and visitors can count on, too.”
The Colleague of the Year is selected from the Colleagues of the Month announced throughout the year. Colleagues of the Month are nominated and selected by their peers.

- June – Nick Stoll, facilitator sonography-ultrasound, radiology
- July – Sondra French, RN, NICU
- August – Lisa Robinson-Carter, nurse extern II, neurology/oncology/surgery
- September – Michelle Adams, medical laboratory scientist, microbiology lab
- October – Michael Kane, nursing EVS associate II, surgery
- November – Clayton Lott, cardiovascular invasive support technician, cath lab
