HSHS believes in giving back to the communities we serve. We support programs and projects that are consistent with our community benefit mission – namely to improve access to health services, enhance public health, advance increased general knowledge and relieve the burden of government to improve health.
Funding preference is given to programs/initiatives that address local priorities identified through the Community Health Needs Assessment process. For HSHS St. Clare Memorial Hospital, these include:
- Mental health
- Nutrition and physical activity
- Access and treatment of alcohol and other drug abuse (AODA)
Requests for support may be – but do not need to be – monetary in nature. All requests should be submitted via the online application.
NOTE: All funding recipients MUST possess non-profit status at the time of the request. Once a request has been submitted, we may contact you for additional information.
Please submit your request 60 days prior to the event/program start (as applicable). Due to the number of applications we receive, HSHS cannot fulfill all funding requests. A representative of HSHS St. Clare Memorial Hospital will notify you once a decision has been made.
