PARTNERED WITH AMERICA AMBULANCE SERVICE, INC.

In partnership with America Ambulance Service Inc., HSHS St. John’s Hospital has an ambulance for specially trained neonatal intensive care (NICU), pediatric intensive care unit (PICU) and maternal transport teams.

The ambulance also serves as a mobile intensive care unit for infants, children and mothers.

The ambulance is brightly decorated with HSHS St. John’s Children’s Hospital mascots and kangaroo duo, CJ and Joey, and their friends Felix and Felicia Fox, Milo the monkey and Goldie the dog. The interior will also be designed with fun graphics in an effort to make the transport ambulance more kid-friendly.

Area hospitals and physicians can request the ambulance to transport infants, children and mothers to St. John’s by calling a dedicated hotline, 1-877-ALL-4KIDS, which is answered 24 hours a day.
