Hospital Auxillary

In May 1954, St. Mary's Auxiliary was formed, its purpose “to assist in the hospital care of the physically, spiritually and mentally sick.” Over the years, Auxiliary contributions have exceeded $2.5 million, providing television sets for all patient rooms, an organ for the Chapel, a communications system, treadmills for Rehabilitation Services, a lift for the whirlpool therapy room and many pieces of hospital equipment. If you would like to support the HSHS St. Mary's Hospital Auxiliary contact Shelli Brunner at 217-464-2520.

We are blessed to have so many loyal volunteers who serve at our health care ministry. Their contributions of time and talent fulfill many hospital needs and add another touch of care and compassion to the people we serve.
