Coping with chronic, non-healing wounds can be both frustrating and time-consuming, but expert care is available to help improve healing and your quality of life. At St. Anthony's Wound Healing Center, our professional staff is highly trained in the specialized, comprehensive care of problem wounds, using the most up-to-date approaches in the science of wound care.

Advanced wound care methods provided by the hospital’s wound care experts include negative pressure wound therapy, total contact casting, bio-engineered tissues, biosynthetic dressings and growth factor therapies. The Wound Healing Center also offers hyperbaric oxygen therapy, which works by surrounding the patient with 100% oxygen to help progress the healing of the wound.

Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy

Hyperbaric oxygen therapy is a simple but effective treatment in which you breathe pure oxygen inside a pressurized chamber. The therapy quickly delivers high concentrations of oxygen to your bloodstream which helps increase your body's own natural wound-healing abilities.

The chamber has clear sides through which you can see your surroundings.
