This support group is for any children age 5 - 18 who have lost a significant person in their life through death. The group is facilitated by Chaplain Dee Stern, Psy.D., grief therapist, licensed clinical professional counselor and author of two books on grief.
The youth will participate in small groups by age. Meetings will begin with a light refreshments followed by age-appropriate activities to help children discuss and process their feelings. These groups will be led by trained volunteers.
Caretakers and parents will meet with Chaplain Dee Stern while their children are meeting with their small groups.
Please Note: This support group series begins Monday, September 8th, 2025 and continues weekly thereafter.
