Fall Health Fair Registration Opens August 29

August 29, 2025 

HSHS St. Joseph’s Hospital Breese will host a health fair Saturday, Sept. 27 from 6-10 a.m. in the hospital’s medical office building, 9515 Holy Cross Lane, Breese.
 
Participants can elect to receive the following screenings at the listed prices:
  • Comprehensive Panel ($45)
    • A 10-hour fast is required – drinking water only; no gum, hard candy, sugar or sweeteners.
  • Prostate-Specific Antigen (PSA) Screenings ($15)
  • Hemoglobin A1C ($10)
  • Vitamin D Screening ($15)
  • Blood Pressure Checks (provided at no cost)
 
Participants will be eligible only for tests selected during the preregistration process. No additional tests may be selected on the day of service.
 
Beginning August 29 at 9 a.m., all participants must register through MyHSHS online medical records portal. Those wanting to attend must preregister for an appointment online through MyHSHS, powered by MyChart, a free online personal health records system that individuals  can access securely from their home computer, laptop or mobile device.
 
Registration will close at the end of day Friday, Sept. 12, or when all appointments are filled. There are limited spots available and on-site registration will not be accepted. For assistance, please call 618-526-5356.
 
The health fair is a self-pay service. No payments will be taken at the time of preregistration; payment will be expected the day of the health fair by credit card, check written out to HSHS or cash. Please arrive at your scheduled time with exact cash or a check written out totaling the amount of health fair services you have scheduled.
 
St. Joseph’s Hospital will not bill insurance plans for any services rendered. You may submit your health fair receipt to your insurance plan, but St. Joseph’s Hospital will not be able to provide an insurance claim.
 
HSHS St. Joseph’s Hospital will post results to attendees’ MyHSHS accounts. No test results will be mailed or faxed to a participant’s health care provider. The responsibility for initiating follow-up examinations for abnormalities identified at the health fair lies with attendees and not with any participating organization.
 
Participants should park in the main parking lot located off Holy Cross Lane and enter through the medical office building, located west of the main entrance.
 
Please wear short-sleeved shirts to make the process easier.

  • Login or create a MyHSHS account by clicking “Sign up.” Be sure to use your full, proper name that matches your HSHS medical record.

When you log in to your MyHSHS account, follow these steps to access the registration for the health fair at HSHS St. Joseph’s Hospital Breese:
  • Click Menu (top bar, far left)
  • Under the Find Care section at the top of the drop-down menu, click on Health Fair.
  • Click on the Southern Illinois Health Fair.
  • Answer the symptom checker.
  • Choose test(s).
  • Schedule an appointment.
  • Make sure you select HSHS St. Joseph’s Hospital Breese as the location and follow the steps to select desired appointment time.
