Free Car Seat Safety Check Event on Oct. 3

HSHS St. Joseph’s Hospital Breese is hosting a free Car Seat Safety Check event on Saturday, Oct. 3 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. The event will be in the employee parking lot located at the back of the hospital.
A certified child passenger safety tech will work with parents and guardians to ensure that their child’s safety seat is installed correctly and answer any questions.
The Illinois Child Passenger Protection Act requires all children under the age of 8 to be properly secured in an appropriate child safety restraint system, including car seats and booster seats using a lap/shoulder seat belt.
