Share Walk for Remembrance and Hope

Share’s Walk for Remembrance & Hope takes place in October, which is National Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month. The event commemorates the lives of babies lost due to miscarriage, stillbirth and infant death.  

Our 11th annual Decatur community walk will be held on Saturday, Oct. 10 at 9 a.m. beginning in the Nelson Park Pavilion #2. This walk along the lake shore will include a memorial service to remember our babies (each child’s name will be read), and also to celebrate each life, no matter how long or short. 

As we gather together to walk in honor of our babies, we keep memories alive and offer support to one another. Whether a recent loss, or one that occurred several years ago, we encourage parents and loved ones to come walk the steps our babies will never take.
 

Registration

To allow time for the entire list of babies' names to be printed in the memorial program, registration forms must be returned by September 21.

Cost

Registration fee: $15 (only one fee per household required)
T-shirts: $15 each (optional)

Please Note: This event will occur rain or shine; however, in cases of extreme weather, HSHS St. Mary's may cancel for participant safety. No refunds will be issued due to cancellation.
